The 6th China International Congress on Composite Materials  (CCCM-6) will be held in Chongqing, China from October 21st to 24th, 2026. Hosted by the Chinese Society for Composite Materials, it is one of the major academic conference in China’s composite materials field, with an expected attendance of approximately 5,000 people. This exhibition is held every two years.The honorary chairman is Academician Du Shanyi, the chairman is Academician Yu Jianyong, and the vice-chairmen include several academicians such as Academician Nan Cewen and Academician Ouyang Xiaoping. The organizing committee is chaired by Professor Ye Jinrui. The conference focuses on the development of composite materials science, covering cutting-edge research progress, technological breakthroughs, and engineering applications.

The conference will feature two keynote speeches, 47 academic parallel sessions, and 5 special sessions. Session E-05 on the application of composite materials in armor protection will be co-chaired by Johnny Zhou, Professor-level Senior Engineer of Beijing Protech New Material Co., Ltd., and Zhai Wen, Researcher of No. 53 Research Institute of China Ordnance Industry Group.

The 9th International Composites Industry Innovation Achievements and Technology Exhibition (ICIE-9) will be held concurrently with CCCM-6. The exhibition features three major zones: the National Composites Industry Cluster Ecosystem, the End-User Demand-Driven Zone, and the R&D Achievement Commercialization Zone, with a planned exhibition space of 5,000 square meters.
