Protech Attended JEC World The Premier Global Event For The Composite Materials Industry
From March 4th to 6th, 2025, the premier global event for the composite materials industry, JEC WORLD 2025, was held at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in the northern suburbs of Paris, France. Having evolved through 60 editions, the exhibition spanned an unprecedented 78,000 square meters, bringing together more than 1,350 companies all over the world and attracting over 60,000 professional visitors. It has become an excellent platform for industry communication, innovation demonstration, and trend insights.
In this exhibition, Protech showcased its brand-new product—3D composite materials. The 3D forming technology developed by Protech independently was an advanced material manufacturing process. Utilizing high-tech fibers as the base material, it integrated precise computer control systems with advanced automatic manufacturing equipment to interweave continuous fibers into complex three-dimensional structures. The 3D composite materials not only overcame the limitations of traditional two-dimensional materials but also opened up new possibilities in the field of material science. The booth with the feature of open design provided visitors with fresh and immersive experiences. This allowed visitors to make the communication freely while feeling the charm of the products, which demonstrated Protech's confidence in new products and the sincerity of communicating with the colleagues in the field.
In the exhibition, a variety of products were displayed including 3D structural preforms made from continuous fibers, 3D composite panels, structural parts, and honeycomb composite materials. Among them, the 3D continuous fiber-reinforced honeycomb structure attracted the attention of many professionals upon its debut. Through the collaborative innovation of materials, structures, and processes, the continuous fiber 3D honeycomb structure had broken through the performance limitations of traditional composite materials. Compared with conventional bonded honeycomb structures, it was integrally formed from continuous fibers, offering excellent structural performance. It improved the performance such as delamination, cracking, and debonding that occurred at the adhesive joints of traditional bonded honeycomb structures under external forces, significantly enhancing the material's specific strength and stiffness, and providing excellent compression and impact resistance. Protech increased the cost-effectiveness of the products significantly while realizing the innovation for the technology. The realization of industrial-scale production and the promotion of this material in the market would open new views and provide advanced alternatives for the fields such as aerospace and high-end equipment manufacturing etc.
We gained valuable insights into emerging market trends and demands through communications and interactions with the peers, which illuminated the path for Protech’s future product development and business expansion. Protech was committed to continuously optimizing products and improving services with the experiences, inspirations and expectations got from the exhibition. In the future, Protech will bring more excellent achievements and continue to thrive in the industry for the new success.
