The inaugural meeting of the Aramid Sub-Association of China Chemical Fibers Association, along with the Aramid Industry Exchange and Seminar, was held in Yantai Shandong on June 26th, 2026. Attendees included Duan xiaoping (President of  China National Textile and Apparel Council) He Yanli (Former Director of the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission and former President of China Chemical Fibers Association) Wu Tong (Deputy Director of the Textile Division of the Consumer Goods Industry Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) Hou Xi (Vice President of China Textile Machinery Association) Chi Haiping (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Tayho Advanced Materials) and Hu Zuming  (Professor of Materials Science and Engineering College of Donghua University) Johnny Zhou (President of Beijing Protech New Material Science Co., Ltd., ) and other leaders and guests, as well as representatives from domestic aramid production and application related enterprises. The meeting was hosted by Lv Jiabin, Vice President of China Chemical Fibers Association.

Through unanimous voting and deliberation, Tayho Advanced Materials was elected as the first rotating president of the Aramid Sub-Association. In the communication process, Professor Hu Zuming from Materials Science and Engineering College of Donghua University and Johnny Zhou President of Protech New Material Science Co., Ltd. presented on the topics of "Production and Performance Study of High-Temperature Resistant Aromatic Polyamide Films" and "Application of Aramid in Bulletproof Fields," respectively which discussed the application, the development trend and production of aramid materials.

The attending representatives unanimously stated that they would actively support the work of the Aramid Sub-Association, strengthen communication and cooperation, increase innovation efforts, improve product quality stability and application applicability and jointly promote the healthy development of the aramid industry.
